With winter creeping in and calling time on motorsport for 2012, you could be forgiven for thinking the end of year wind down is well and truly in motion.
For the motorsport world, however, although racing is done for the year, 2013 has already started.
Not least so for Ash Miller, who has been busy preparing his 2013 assault, and taming the UK’s off season one circuit at a time.
With 2013 warming up enough to make the ice and snow seem irrelevant, Miller’s been turning wheels to set his season in motion.
Taking to a bitter cold Bedford Autodrome behind the wheel of the Radical SR3, Miller kicked off December with a return to the driving seat.
“It was a magic car – even in the wet, an incredible amount of grip. Thanks so much to the Radical guys for giving the opportunity to get on board!”
Adding to his winter runs, Miller also took to a frozen Donington Park to turn laps in the rapid Ginetta G40.
“The Ginetta is another impressive little car. Initially the car was very twitchy, which wasn’t helped by the ice on the circuit, but by the end of the day the times were looking fantastic.”
“It’s just so great to get some laps in and get the new season moving!”
With much planned in the off season, Miller is looking forward to continuing the testing; all in aid of preparing for his 2013 assault.
